SNUG FOR GOOD

let's leave the world in a better place than we found it

95% of returned products are upcycled to make our "Perfectly Imperfect" pieces and our cardboard packaging is 100% recyclable.

All our sofas are vegan friendly. You won't find any trace of leather or feathers.

The timber used for our sofas comes from well managed forests to reduce our environmental impact to animals and livestock.

The majority of our products are manufactured in the UK to reduce our carbon footprint.

We've partnered with The Eden Project to help plant trees around the world and have already planted 100,000 trees to date.

SUSTAINABILITY STARTS AT THE TOP

"I want to ensure that Snug is a vehicle for positive change. We will always consider the social and environmental impact of any decisions we make as a business. We will also continue our efforts in helping the planet and the people in it... and hopefully, along the way, we will inspire goodness in others, so they can do the same."

Snug for good x crisis

Crisis is the UK's national charity to help end homelessness in the UK.

They're working to change lives by providing warm homes for Christmas, essential food and year-round support.

In 2020, Snug supported Crisis to raise enough money to help over 540 people experiencing homelessness during Christmas.

Every year since our first Christmas in 2019 we have partnered with Crisis to help take homeless people off the streets. Crisis are on a mission to change lives across the country. As a company, we are laying the foundations to leave this world in a better place than we found it. That's why working alongside Crisis is so important to us. Eden reforestation

We've partnered with The Eden Reforestation Project to help plant trees and support their mission.

They work with communities around the world to educate and employ local people to produce, plant, protect and conserve native tree species in deforested areas.

So far, Snug has helped to plant 100,000 trees.

The Eden Reforestation Project was started in an African village during a forest restoration project, millions of trees were planted, and this area is now flourishing, feeding and sheltering the local community. Since the beginning of the project, 384 million trees have been planted and by 2025 the project hopes to plant 500 million trees a month.

Snug for good

We're comitted to being an equal opportunities workplace and employer.

This begins with our recruitment process and continues throughout our team members' journey.

We strive to empower every employee reach their true potential.

We are committed to being an equal opportunities workplace and employer. At the beginning of 2020, we had a team of six working with Rob, our founder, to build a new concept in the sofa industry. Fast forward two years and we now have a team of over 70 dedicated staff, working hard to continue to build not only a great brand but also a great place to work. It’s the diverse, kind, and inclusive workforce behind Snug that makes us so special.

We know that the best team is a diverse team, and as we continue to grow, we become ever more committed to building an organisation where everyone has a unique sense of belonging and is valued as an individual. Our goal is to increase representation in all elements, to reflect the increasingly diverse community in which we work, and create a safe space where everyone can be seen, heard, respected and valued.

We are at the very beginning of our journey and are learning as we go. Our commitment begins with our recruitment process and continues throughout our team members’ journey with Snug. Our diversity and inclusion agenda aims to build inclusive behaviours and awareness and ownership at all levels.

We hope to make Snug a vehicle for good and strive to empower every employee to reach their true potential.

Our Pledge

As part of our commitment to healing our planet and protecting our customers, we pledge to be carbon neutral by 2025. How are we going to do this, you say? As part of our plans for 2022 we will be heavily focused on our carbon offsetting and looking at ways in which we can reduce our carbon footprint across our products, materials and processes.
